The Owner Occupied Podcast Is Back!

I’m thrilled to announce that my podcast, Owner Occupied, has returned for season 3!

Owner Occupied is a (mostly) property management interview podcast, hosted by yours truly. Last season was a smash hit with guests like Moses Kagan, Chris Powers and Jordan Muela. I focus on quality over quantity (hence, limited runs and professional production). Episodes are around 50-70 minutes in length. Season 3 is already mostly recorded and I can’t wait for all theses great interviews to release, starting today!

The first episode of the new season is out NOW, and new episodes are dropping every Wednesday for the next 15 weeks. The season premier is my interview with Nick Huber - aka “Sweaty Startup”. Here are some of the topics we discuss on the show:

I’m Back!

Today is my first day back, after 5 weeks off from work with no contact. It was a great break and I’m gathering up my thoughts & takeaways. As of this writing I have 682 unread emails in my inbox (I’m normally an inbox-zero guy), so I’ve got some work ahead of me to catch up. Please forgive any delay in responding!

• A VC-backed property management company in Australia that had raised 27M called “:Different” is shutting down. More info here.

• Tickets are now available for LeadSimple’s first-ever user summit, which they are calling LeadSimple University! It’s December 5-7th in Austin. I’m a keynote speaker. You can grab tickets here.

• Property Meld has announced the details of their user summit, Maintenance Summit. It’s September 13 – 15 in Rapid City, SD. We’re sending a couple folks from our team (we use Meld & love it).
