I’d like to highlight this free webinar on real estate taxes — I know Nick and Mitchell personally, and they are both exceptionally knowledgeable on this topic. I expect this hour to be chock full of takeaways that will be useful for anyone who owns or manages rental properties. Highly suggest registering.

Something that’s not often discussed among the NARPM crowd is how insanely powerful our “real estate professional” IRS tax status can be (to reduce or defer income taxes). Look for them to get into this and how you can combine it with cost segregation studies and accelerated depreciation.

Featured Episode of Owner Occupied

We’ve got a bunch of new subscribers to this email list, so some of you may not know that I have a podcast! It’s called Owner Occupied, and Season 2 wrapped up at the end of last year. Season 3 has already begun recording.

Partway through the season, we turned the mic around and Andy VandenBerg interviewed me about how I took a month away from my company. This was a really fun interview and Andy really grilled me about how, why, and what was needed to make this happen.
