Peter Lohmann's Mailing List - Issue #26

Welcome to the 56 new readers since last issue!

Recording Now Available: Process Webinar

On Tuesday I hosted a live event where I rebuilt our New Property process in real-time. I hosted it as a Zoom Webinar and capped it at 25 people - which maxed out with 39 minutes of announcing the event. Everyone who missed it live can now watch it for free - right here!

I didn't even have time to show some of the fun stuff like using Zapier to automate parts of the process. If there is interest, I can do a follow-up webinar where we keep going and build out additional parts of the process including Zapier connections.

New Article: Getting Added as Additionally Insured

If you own a property management company, you know how frustrating it is to get ALL your property owners to add you to their insurance correctly as “Additional Insured”. We finally got this sorted and are at 80% compliance (up from 35%).

I wrote a comprehensive blog post yesterday, showing exactly how we did this using a combination of fees, automated nag emails, and insurance options. Go read it here!

Gearing up for NARPM National Conference

I'll be attending the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) annual "big event" - taking place October 17th - 21st in Las Vegas. If you will be there too, please flag me down and say hi!

Using a Household Manager and Notion

A Twitter thread I wrote this week got a lot of traction... if you're looking for ways to get more free time at home, check out what I'm doing with a household manager and a family Notion page:

Closing Thought

Thanks for reading! -Peter

Are you using a separate system like Wise to pay international contractors? Or do you just dread running payroll in general? Consider signing up with Gusto - we’ve used them for 9 years and I couldn’t be happier with the service. We use them to pay all our W-2 employees and international VAs/contractors on the same platform. Use my affiliate link for a $100 credit!
